Where do I start?
There are three steps necessary in order to create and share referral lists. They are the following:
  • Sign up for Free Konvergent account
  • Add External Providers
  • Create Referral Lists

This sections walks through each of the three steps and makes recommendations about what additional steps should be taken in order to make the most of Konvergent.

Sign up for Free Konvergent account
The first step to starting with Konvergent is to sign up for the Basic (Free) account.

To begin the process of signing up follow these steps:
  1. Click on the Sign Up link in the navigation bar in the upper right.
  2. Check the checkbox at the bottom of the page signifying that you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Click Next.
  3. Fill out your program information form and then click Next.
  4. Enter your information regarding your user account and then click Create Program.
  5. Congrats! You are now signed up! You can now import your External Providers into your database.

Add External Providers
The second step to starting with Konvergent is to import External Providers so that there are External Providers in your database.

  1. Log in to Konvergent
  2. Click Users > External Providers > Enter External Provider in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Click the Agency checkbox if the practice is an agency.
  4. Enter the email, first name and last name of the external provider OR if it is an agency enter the email and agency name.

    All other fields are optional.
  5. Click Add Provider.

Create and Share Referral List
The last step we are going to cover in this article is creating a referral list and sharing it via email.

Now that we have External Providers in our database we can use them to populate our Referral Lists and share it with whoever we want.

  1. Log in to your Staff account
  2. In the navigation bar at the top select Referral List > Manage Lists
  3. On the right side of the screen click Create List.
  4. Enter the name for the new list in the input box.
  5. Click Create List (or press Enter)
  6. Drag the External Provider you would like to add from the column titled Providers to your target list
  7. Locate the referral list you would like to email and click the options button (
    ) in the upper right.
  8. Select the option Send List via Email.
  9. In the modal that displays enter the email addresses separated by commas or enter each email address on a new line then press Confirm Email Addresses.
  10. Confirm the email addresses then press Send Referral List via Email.
Now you can share your referral lists via text, email or simply print them out!
